Intoduction

D J Sportscars International Ltd in Harlow, Essex, founded by Derek Johns, have been producing Dax Tojeiro’s for over 25 years making them the longest established and most popular Cobra Replica producer in Britain today. The Dax Tojeiro has evolved over the years to become one of the best recreations available with a ladder frame chassis with back bone bracing and separate bolt down scuttle sub-frame. The composite body has an inner bodytub bonded into the outer shell along with inner wings and boot panel giving additional strength.

With its modern dash, rounded centre tunnel and 17” wheels it is a modern interpretation of the Classic 60’s Cobra rather than a copy of the original.

This particular Dax Tojeiro was registered in 2008 on a unique ‘related’ plate. Powered by a 5.0 ltr Chevy Small Block producing around 350BHP mated to a 5 speed gear box. The body is finished in Classic Electric Blue with White Le Mans Stripes and 17” Image Wheels with Spinners. It boasts a detailed Engine Bay, Stainless Steel Side Exhausts, Twin Chrome Roll Hoops and Chrome Nudge Bars. Inside it is beautifully trimmed with Grey Leather dash and seats, a Motolita Wood Rim Steering Wheel and Harness Seatbelts.

Complete with rare Le Mans style removable Hardtop makes this Dax a much more versatile car for those trips to Classic Le Mans,Classic Monaco and Goodwood. Whilst rare we have sold two Hard Top Cobras recently.

Condition

External – The paintwork is in very nice order with no obvious blemishes to note. 

Wheels - In excellent condition with no kerbing.

Interior – In excellent condition with no excessive wearing in the seats, carpeting or trim.
