Introduction

The Series 3 E Type was introduced in 1971 and continued until the demise of the E Type in 1974.

Mechanical changes included a new 5.3 litre V12, improved brakes and power steering. Cosmetic changes included a new larger front grill and flared wheel arches.

The V12 was only available as a convertible or 2+2 fixed head coupe and both models used the 2+2 floorplan.

This particular car has been owned by its most recent owner for 14 years. During this time any mechanical issues along the way have been attended to keep this a usable and reliable E type.

It comes with a healthy history file including past MOTs as detailed below.

Condition

Exterior – In generally nice order. The roof is showing its age as the most recent owner only used the car on sunny days so the roof was always stowed.   

Wheels - The wheels are in nice order with no damage to note.

Interior – The interior is in generally good order. The boot carpet has picked up some marks over the years but is in otherwise good condition.
