Introduction

The Plus 8 has enjoyed a production run from 1968 to 2004 and over that time although staying true to its original design, has grown sideways somewhat. The Plus 8 was also brought back in a new guise in 2012.

Powered by a Rover 3.9 V8 it certainly pulls in the horizon with consummate ease and enjoys a nimbleness that ever growing modern sports cars have left behind.

Where do we start with this car? Once in a while a car comes along that has had only one owner, an owner who dreamt of owning a morgan, who cherished and loved it and in fact who waited over 7 agonising years for delivery to his own specification, who never drove the car in the rain and who has taken delivery of a new Morgan Plus 8. This is one of these owners. It really doesn't come much better than this.

Finished on Connaught Green with sumptuous Burgundy Leather this car was ordered from London Morgan Dealer Wykehams in June 1989 and we have the original order form. The car was eventually delivered on the 30th September 1996 and we have the original Bill of Sale.

It is very well specified and includes Wire Wheels (Brand New), Alloy Body and Wings, Rubber Backed Carpets,Luggage Rack, Map Reading Light, Walnut Veneer, Passenger Door Mirror, Scuttle Roll Bar, Badge Bar, Underseal and Stereo Preparation With Rear Speakers.

Needless to say this car has been maintained meticulously and in fact the Service Book ran out of space and was continued onto the back cover!

Having covered only 16,600 Dry miles you can expect a wonderful car and you certainly won't be disappointed with this surely appreciating classic.
