Introduction

The Corvette Z06 is a remarkable car. No doubt if available in right hand drive, it would of sold in significant numbers. It offers staggering acceleration, strong braking and a fluidity of handling not previously associated with American sports cars demonstrated by the fact that they are equipped with a dry sump oil system to facilitate the cars ability to corner at over 1g.

The frame of the ZO6 (as opposed to the C6) is constructed of aluminium and weighs in at just over 1,400 kg’s which combined with its 7 litre engine producing 505bhp propels the car to 60 mph in 1st gear in just 3.7 seconds and delivers a top speed of 198 mph.

Interior cabin space and a substantial boot make this phenomenal sports car, also a great GT car.

This particular example, which looks particularly striking in Victory Red with Chrome Finish Alloys sounds marvellous courtesy of a Corsa Exhaust System. It has only ever had UK ownership and all servicing to date has been undertaken at Bauer Millett.

Condition

EXTERNAL – The paintwork is in extremely good order. Front end stone chips are near on non-existent. There are no other blemishes to note.

WHEELS – There is no kerbing. Under the closest scrutiny, the polished finish shows some very minor blemishes which is characteristic.

INTERIOR - The interior is in very high order with no excessive wearing in the seats, carpeting or trim.
