If you were going to build an outstanding replica of Ari Vatanen's Group 1 Avon Tour of Britain car you could do no better than appoint Mike Jordan of Eurotech and JordanSport fame. His exacting standards have produced highly successful FIA GT, British GT, BTCC and Britcar machines that have claimed success around the world including Daytona and Le Mans over the last 25 years.
This is Mike's personal rally car built on an original, concours RS 2000 Custom bodyshell complete with welded bespoke cage and Dave Brooks ultimate Gp 1 spec 2.0 Pinto with German camshaft, twin downdraught webbers and a special hi-torque exhaust manifold. Complete with a Quaife pro gearbox, German baby Atlas axle and Ford Motorsport LSD it is easy to see the quality that has gone in to this car. Even the seats are best quality- matching Sparco's with head restraint, Coralbra trip meter, composite bonnet and boot (but originals available to be FIA compliant) , MSA Technical Passport and papers making it eligible for historic rallying today.
You only need to see this yellow peril once to understand the outstanding value it offers today. Easy to drive and above all-great fun!
