1970 / H Jaguar E Type 4.2 (series II ) Roadster manual - SOLD

 I have a great passion for E-Types and I have learnt that the series 2 drives the best of them all, the manual cars in particular. It's also the only E-Type that us tall people can drive in any sort of comfort!
This car sits well and looks great in Primrose Yellow with black leather, black hood and wire wheels. It was an early recipient of work done at the Eagle factory in 2002, when Henry Pearman and his team 'breathed' on the car with some subtle updates to brakes and suspension as well as changing the seats for their improved and more comfortable version with greater lateral and lumbar support.It also benefits from power steering and modern Pirelli tyres.
It had a new hood fitted during the Eagle restoration which remains waterproof and smart.
The Jaguar heritage certificate tells us that chassis no. 1R 1490 was manufactured 9th December 1969 and dispatched by Henly's Ltd. to it's first owner on 5th January 1970 who was a Mr. J. Mercardo of London W2. The original registration number being 670 F.
Today the car presents extremely well and drives as superbly as any E-Type.
It is priced realistically and is ready for the next owner to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the E-Type in 2011.
