1965 FIA Ford Mustang Notchback - SOLD

Following 10 years of racing and developing American saloons for historic touring car racing, I was looking for the next project to follow the highly successful Mercury Comet Cyclone which was masterminded by myself and Richard Dodkins, specifically for the Goodwood Revival.

On my travels I discovered an outstanding Mustang shell, which has now been acid dipped, seam welded and a T45 Custom Cage (ultra lightweight) fitted by Custom Cages. All the very best parts (learned over the last decade) have been fitted and the car has been painstakingly assembled for me by Steve Curl to the absolute ultimate spec, with everything bran new, including the engine and gearbox.
There has been absolutely no expense spared on this project and the best of the best has been fitted throughout. The car has  FIA papers and technical passport and is eligible for all European FIA saloon events including the UK based Masters series and, if invited, Goodwood. The car has only competed in 2 races so far (highly competitively) and can be viewed at Oulton Park 12/13th March 2011.

I have not listed all the key components here ( because they are my trade secrets!) but will share openly all costs and spec with any serious interested party. You will not find better anywhere and could not build it for anywhere near this price.

All assistance given to purchaser and we can run it for you as part of our small friendly team if desired. Please contact me there to discuss details further...
