Introduction

In 2011 Jaguar brought back the halo XK brand, the XKR-S. This was the first time the XKR-S became available since the introduction of the wonderful 5.0 litre which has powered the XK since 2009.

Horsepower is increased from 503bhp to 542bhp which brings the 0-60 time from 4.6 to 4.2 seconds and top speed unrestricted at 186 mph. Apart from the XJ220 supercar, this is the most powerful engine in a road going Jaguar.

Cosmetic upgrades include a full bodykit to include revised front and rear bumpers, a carbon fibre rear spoiler and diffuser and front splitter creating a much more aggressive looking car over standard.

It sits lower on uprated suspension, has an active sports exhaust, revised 16-way adjustable memory sports seats with carbon fibre effect leather, reprogrammed Adaptive Dynamics and 20-inch Vulcan wheels.

The end result is a car with a much sharper dynamic to match its aggressive looks which will suit those who want a GT car that offers an involving driving experience more akin to a dialled in sports car. Proof in the proverbial pudding is provided by a sub 8 minute lap time of the Nordschliefe.

Congratulations to Jaguar, they really achieved something rather special with this car.

This 2012 model year looks very stealth like in Ultimate Black Metallic with Charcoal Leather detailed with Ivory Stitching. It comes with a long list of creature comforts to include Reverse Camera, Sat Nav, DAB Radio, Bluetooth, Heated Memory Seats and Heated Steering Wheel.

It is supported by 3 Jaguar services to date, the most recent being undertaken in November 14 and comes with brand new Pirelli P Zero Corsa Tyres.

Condition

External - The paintwork is in top order consistent with the low mileage of the car. There are no dings or scratches to note and only a couple of minor front end stone chips.

Wheels - In excellent condition with no kerbing.

Interior - In excellent condition with little wearing in the seats, carpeting and trim.
